PLAN is an acronym for People * Land * Air * Nature.
Now more than ever, Men and Women are RISING UP and we are being guided to step up, to stand in OUR fullest expression of power and to radiate our LIGHT and WISDOM in support of FREEDOM upon this earth.
Every town or intentional community will require a structure. Just as every river needs its banks so it flows where it is meant to go, every intentional community will need a PLAN COUNCIL to keep it moving and progressing forward.
The PLAN Council model is a dejure assembly and not part of a defecto government. It is an empowered way of structuring, organizing and educating a town (intentional community). It is not based on the old hierarchal model ( you do not require a mayor). It is a circular model similar to the “round table” where the People hold the power. It is similar to a Council of Elders where those who have the highest level of awareness, knowledge, integrity and heart based communication skills, will be there to “educate” others on how to become the best version of themselves.
Power is distributed throughout the community giving everyone a voice while staying aligned to the communities purpose and vision.
Each PLAN Council offers a foundation for teaching SELF GOVERNANCE.
No Boss – All leaders – Self Leadership – Lead one self.
Creating your PLAN Council within your Community
Your Council’s foundation is built on trust, respect for all and integrity.
We are creating self-replicating teacher/demonstration resources for all existing towns or new intentional communities, villages, which offers a viable path to empowering people to become the best version of themselves. When we have enough people applying a solution-creating model like this, we will transform not only our lives but future generations.
You do not need a degree or special education to start your PLAN Council in your community. You just need a learning attitude, a kind heart and passion to create positive change
We utilize what we call Open Space Gatherings
Open Space Gatherings (known as Open Space Technology – learn more HERE) is one way to enable all kinds of people, in any kind of group from 2 – 2000 to create inspired meetings and events. It offers intentional leadership practices, and can create inspiration, where ordinary people work together to create extraordinary results with regularity.
In Open Space meetings, events and organizations, participants create and manage their own agenda of parallel working sessions around a central theme of strategic importance, such as: What is the strategy, group, or community that all stakeholders can support and work together to create?
The common result is a powerful, effective connecting and strengthening of what’s already happening in the community: planning and action, learning and doing, passion and responsibility, participation and performance.
Guidelines to create your PLAN Council within your Community
- Council of 13 – Are the ones responsible for creation, planning and record keeping of Open Space Gatherings. Your Council members are the ones who educate, offer guidance on how to reclaim your own power, to be self governing, to align with natural law and to develop your town/community to be free and prosperous based on the nine pillars.
- Create Open Space Gatherings – You may have only a few to start, however; as you grow each Open Space Gathering will focus on how your community seeks to create the new models of education, agricultural, health & wellbeing, media, communication, business/economy, security, infrastructure, natural law, and arts etc. (areas that are important to your community)
- Create a Code of Conduct – One of the biggest issues communities have is conflict between members. Guidelines are important as everyone is to behave in a manner that is respectful, kind and in accordance with Natural Law. Conflict is inevitable.
- Contributionism – At the core of each PLAN Council is Contributionism. As you grow, the Community votes in each member of the Council. Each council member is voted in by their ACTIONS not their words. They are voted in by their character, how much time and effort they have contributed and the values they bring to the community.
Remember, structure begins to dissolve as each person becomes self-governing. Self-responsibility leads to self-governance. Self-governance leads to freedom. Once we are self-governing we no longer need big government.
It will take some time as we TRANSITION out of this old corrupt SYSTEM into a completely new way of living. This is just the beginning.
